Clean place to hang your hat while you ski locally

While it wasn't 4 star, they didn't advertise it as such, but it was warm, cozy, comfy 2+ star and I can say first-hand their accomodations were perfect for the "non snob" after a day of skiiing. Our small dog was graciously accepted with a small deposit. They kept the restaurant open for us when we got there past closing, without so much as a complaint, in fact they insisted. We really had a good experience with the family that runs it and will be return again as soon as there's snow! If you want 4-5 star experience, go to Harvey's and pay 350.00 per night. I'd save that for "fun money" and walk the extra block to the casionos from the Chamonix and avoid the ambient noise when you're ready for sleep. Real skiiers can count on reliable, warm, quiet, clean and good accomondations here.

Small Run Down Motel

Dirty and overpriced. I think this says enough. The "C" was missing in the sign outside so look for the "hamonix" inn. Then keep going!
