Bad choice
When it comes to staying in South Lake Tahoe, it's a better idea to spend your whole night at a casino and lose a few hundred dollars than to waste $75 AND sleep in an unclean room at Thunderbird Motel. The motel was way overpriced, the manager was unfriendly, and there were a few plumbing problems, too. This is definitely not the place to spend your Lake Tahoe vacation.
