Presidential Suite centrally located just off I-5
I just walked into the lobby and found that the hotel meets all the corporate requirements for a decent stay in Stockton. In fact, the Radisson Hotel is one of the few quality hotels in Stockton, something that President's Bush's entourage must have found when they checked him and some 50 suitcases in for a night's stay during an September a swing through the state in September 2006. It's within walking distance of the Venetian Bridges shopping courtyard, which has a wine bar and several ethic and American restaurants. The Corporate list of restaurants is between the Radisson and I-5. On the other side of I-5, the "exclusive" Brookside Community begins, leading eventually leading to one of Stockton's waterfronts.
Unique Quality: On a warm summer day, a dip in the pool is worth it, but basically this hotel is frequented by more businessmen than tourists. Having said that, some of the rooms do have views across the better part of Stockton. It's not downtown though, so don't expect an urban view.

If this is luxury, I'll take a tent
Until about 1999, the Radisson was a Hilton. Embarrassed, presumably, that its name was attached to so dismal a property, Hilton dumped the hotel onto Radisson.
It's is a nice location; that's about all that's nice about the Radisson. The interior is deadly dull. Rooms are arranged along the north and south walls; standing in the doorways you can see a long, wide, and wholly uninteresting atrium; from rooms you can see either urban decay or fast food temples.
The restaurant is a step or three below a Marie Calendar's; the bar is a tiny thing in which amplified heathen noises battle to ensure that you cannot hold a conversation.
For all that, the Radisson is probably Stockton's best hotel. Alas.

The Radisson Hotel Stockton has the most luxurious accommodations and is the best full service hotel in Stockton California. They also have complimentary passes to the gym.
