Motel on Ventura Boulevard

This is a motel on a busy road - built across two blocks with a dividing road leading to a car park at the rear of the blocks. The rooms are at ground floor and first floor level and the office is in the block as you enter on the right. This pool also has a small swimming pool in its middle.
The rooms are a good size and there appears to be two sizes of room - mine was one of the larger ones with a large main room, a dressing room and bathroom.
The rooms were cleaned daily and the standard of furnishing was good. The only complaint I had was the lack of heating. Although the weather was warm through the day (January 2010) the nights were cold. The heater was under the window and when the heater was put on the curtains which covered the heater blew upwards! I would think this would also be a fire hazard.
Apart from the heating problem and noise problems with constant 24 hour traffic which I soon got used to I can recommend the Days Inn.
Breakfast is provided in a small seating area in the office.
