Go to the Dogs at Alpine Meadows by AKtravelers
Alpine Meadows is the third of the Big Three Lake Tahoe ski areas, and one of our favorite. It has a wide variety of terrain that's likely to please everyone in the group. While its expert terrain is not as challenging as that of Heavenly or Squaw, my brother still managed to get a concussion here. But our favorite part about Alpine are the resident dogs, which ride up on the lifts and bound down the slopes. It's quite a trip to watch them!
