Firelite Lodge

We stayed here in late April for a 4-day ski trip to Squaw Valley and Alpine meadows. We paid $79 a night for a room with two queens, a pullout, and a nice gas fireplace. The rooms were clean and tastefully decorated. The sound of traffic from the highway didn't bother me, as I brought ear plugs. It wasn't noticeable until I went to sleep anyhow. Nothing city dwellers don't hear all the time. Oh, and the outdoor hot tub is great! It seats about 6-8 people. We drove by lots of "cabin" type accomodations that looked downright dumpy. Be careful where you stay!
