Your own boat: The best

I spend 3 nights on this boat...it's note mine but a close friend. It has two staterooms with private bathroom/shower and a kitchen for cooking. The room Kim and I had was under the aft cockpit. Not the most room but it beat the bunkbeds on the Coast Guard Cutters and some of the other boats I have been over on. I've been over on boats as small as a Cal 20' which made this boat look like a cruise ship.

Unique Quality: This is like RV'ing on the ocean. We had to anchor here which was free and use the same inflatable to get to the small dingy dock on land.

Thx for the ride Tom.

Two Harbors camping: Coastal Camping

There are three places to stay at Two Harbors. If you did not come via your own boat..camping is probably your best option. You'll need a permit which you can get from the Visitors Service's office at the base of the pier. They also have an office at Hermit Gulch and Island Plaza. The permits are issued year round and are free. I have never had to stay here since I have had a bunk or a bed on Coast Guard boat/private boat but would not mind doing it if I had too......Half the fun of the place is sailing over here though.

Unique Quality: There are free and clean toilets in town and hot showers for 50 cents. There is also a coin operated laundry in the same building with the showers/toilets
