A place to sleep?
Motel 6's are usually iffy. A lot of times you'll get a disgusting room, have to deal with jerks at the front desk, or with weird people staying there. Then again, sometimes they're great.
At this one, I got an idiot at the desk, who overcharged me $5 on a reservation I had made online, then, when I complained, decided to tell me that it was his first day (why do people ever tell you this?).
The room was okay. A couple of errors in cleaning, but nothing to get overly excited about. Motel 6 decided a couple of years ago to introduce a disgustingly tacky road-themed bed spread in all its locations. It's scratchy, thick and pulling it off gets you a static shock. Strangely enough, on this one, someone had written "I Do Not Care" on the bottom in marker. Maybe one of the staff.
But this Motel 6 had people living in it and they were up until about 1am outside my door talking to each other. It was a holiday though, and it's not like I had to work the next day, so I just let it go.
There are much better places in Ukiah (and better towns along 101), but this is one of the cheaper ones. But, for a Motel 6, I wasn't impressed.
