Awful, like a tour of the ghetto. This is the Worst marriot I have ever stayed in ( I am surprised they can legally call it a marriot) It is more like a really old ramada inn. The staff is rude and unhelpful. The tv is little and old with a bad picture. The air didn't work in our room. The room is the smallest I have ever stayed in! And they try to cram a tiny sofa and king bed into it. I would have paid extra not to have to have stayed here! The reviews that claim this place is great have obviously never been here.
Unique Quality: If you want to have the honor of staying at the worst marriot ever!?!
Never a dull moment when the kids get together. Fun how they all seem to get along.......and of course I never let them forget who the "Coolest Aunt on the Planet" is.
My dream is to someday take these little beauties on an "educational" trip to Paris. Get them exposed to the travel bug at an *early* age!
Of course, their parents tell me THEY come with the package! ;-)
Vallejo
by Tina-Perth
"Vallejo Blues Festival"
We had visited a blues club in San Francisco and the lead act, Chick Willis invited us to go up to Vallejo for a Blues Festival.
It was a fabulous day out and we met some terrific people.
"Some friendly locals"
The locals at Vallejo were very friendly and we had a wonderful day meeting people, chatting, eating and drinking. We forgot to really watch and listen to the music, but it made for a great atmosphere.
When the concert finished, these guys joined us in our car and helped me finish off another bottle of Canadian Club. (We could not sit outside of our car in the park and drink - the laws are very strict). This picture was taken after the fact.
