We build up the anticipation by banging the side of the house with bells......basically anything we can find in my Dad's garage that can make a merry noise. This could include instruments from his old Navy days and car horns.
Not quite the sounds of sleigh bells, but it alwyas does the trick !!
I am actually paraphrasing a song title from "My Fair Lady". Which brings me to one of my favorite subjects, Musical Theater. Contrary to popular belief there is culture in Vallejo, CA. We really are more than a great amusement park, Six Flags Marine World and an old naval base, Mare Island. We have musical theater provided by Vallejo Musical Theater (I have been lucky to perform for them in past productions), the Symphony, historical sites, gorgeous views and wonderful people. This town is rebuilding after the closure of Mare Island and we are growing at an astronomical rate. Vallejo is culturally diverse hosting large populations of all ethinic origins. The City of Vallejo is dedicated to celebrating all the traditions of its citizens with various festivals throughout the year. So come and visit and experience that which we call Vallejo!
