THE place to stay while in Ventura
This is the perfect place to stay while in Ventura. Walking distance to the beach and the boardwalk or downtown. All for a reasonable price. Very clean as well. Really you can't do better:)

Home from home
On arriving you see a friendly diner type restaurant across the way from check in. The food and service there was generally so good that we hardly ate anywhere else other than Betty's Diner on Main St.
The rooms were very nice and cleaned daily. Of the four hotels we stayed in during our 3 week tour around California it was the most comfortable in that we felt able to have loads of stuff strewn around the rooms as if we were home. There was a pool but we never used it. Only problem was no laundry service and we never found the laundrette apparently nearby. We did not drive and chose this location as being near to the Main St. and other facilities. There are 3 thrift stores on Main St worth visiting! There are also many bars and a movie theatre. Everyone was very friendly and we felt at home. Colourful people on Main St and unusual shopping.
Unique Quality: Large rooms with palm trees outside. Dogs allowed.
