Willows - Seat of Glenn County
Willows, without about 6,000 people, is the county seat of Glenn County in the Sacramento Valley. This is a major agricultural area and there is not much else here. Willows is very much a Central Valley farming town with some nice, tree-lined residential areas and an old downtown that has seem nice buildings but is now pretty dead, another victim of the automobile and shopping centres.
Overall, the downtown is not quite on par with Colusa, the county seat to the south, and it is a mere shadow of the downtown of Red Bluff to the north.
