Amazing Getaway
We rented a cabin for a week and have nothing but good things to say. The redwoods staff are really great and they are very accommodating. The cabin was equipped with everything we needed to make our stay really great! Our two kids and two labs I think will miss this place very much. The labs have been swimming in the river only two blocks down from our cabin every day. The kids are in the back of the cabin in the trees when we are not sightseeing or hiking on trails..they are outdoors and loving it...finally! The price is good for the privacy we get with the cabin. Everyone we have met in the Yosemite National Park has been really cool. We have had so much fun I was sad to leave. We will definitely stay here again. You can't beat being nestled in the woods, with huge granite boulders to climb around on, and meeting people that are so laid back it makes you envious ;o)!!!
Unique Quality: Pet Friendly! Privacy! Great Staff! Cabins are equipped with everything you need to settle right in. Just make sure you stop at the big grocery store before coming into the park.

Stay among the Trees!
The Redwoods are year round vacation home rentals. They are all privately owned homes in Wawona, about 6 miles from the southern entrance of the park.

Expensive but Good for Large Groups
We stayed in one of these cabins last Memorial Day for several days, and it was great. It was more of a house than a cabin, well equipped with plenty of blankets and a full kitchen. We had three bedrooms and a pull-out couch, and were able to comfortably sleep three families. This put us back $350 a night, but we split it three ways, so it was a good deal for us.
Unique Quality: PROS:
This is much bigger and nicer than the cabins in Curry Village.
CONS:
It is also a lot more expensive, and as it is not in the Valley, it will take you longer to get to many of the more popular hikes.

Your very own cabin
The Redwoods offers individual cabins that can be rented on a nightly basis. They come fully equipped with such amenities as a full kitchen, linens, etc. You can bring your own groceries and do your own cooking, then relax on the porch outside. They are really pleasant!
Unique Quality: Each cabin is owned independently, so they are all a little different. Some back up right into the Chilnualna Creek. Some allow dogs.
