Cozy Camping in Tuolumne

White Wolf campground, next to the White Wolf Lodge, offers a number of camp sites which are ideal for a base camp in the Tuolumne area of Yosemite National Park. Set among pine forest, the sites have a fire-pit, park bench, and bear boxes (mandatory). There are communal bathrooms. The atmosphere is quiet, not many loud radios or partiers there. Simply people looking to explore the outdoors and have a good base camp to do it from.

Yosemite's Best Campground

I highly recommend this campground. I love the quiteness. It's an excellent base camp for day hikes to Lake Lukens and Harden Lakes. It's clean and I love the convenience of a store in the campground.

Unique Quality: If you are camping in Yosemite and you don't want a big and loud crowd, this is the place to be. It's halfway between the valley and the high country, and generally isn't overrun with visitors. It's on a first come first serve basis.
Facilities: water, clean restrooms, shower, electricity, store (ice, drinks, wood, food), big campsites, cabins, etc.
Location Calif. 120, White Wolf, Yosemite National Park, Inside the Park
