Grubby Place

Didn't look like the sheets had been changed. Room smelled bad - like someone had been smoking in it. Trash around outside of rooms. Do not understand how a motel can be so poorly managed!!!!!

For all of you who don't know, Yucca Valley is one of the communities surrounding Joshua Tree National Park in the California hi-desert. This year (2005) looks to have provided just the right combination of temperature and rainfall (not to mention snow), for a rare, stunning spring, bursting with wildflowers!
Right now, I'm just getting started with these pages, so e-mail me if you want information on visiting. We're only about three hours from LA or San Diego - or Las Vegas, for that matter, so don't be shy.
