House Two
"MOTS (naturally)"
About half-way through. I got bored, and painted the house (yep, all of it). Also, notice the brass mail-slot. Got a bit ahead of myself, but it was all coming together.
In 'real-life', I was going through my Post Graduate degree. I really was insane at the time.
"Seventh Inning Stretch"
Almost there. Pruned the shrubberies (how *very* 'Monty Python'), but I got bored again.
"DONE!"
So, this is it. The finished product. Can't believe 4 months later, a Masters' Dissertation and 2 cars later, it's finally done.
2 weeks later, the house went on the market, and was sold in a week.
The Lady that bought it promptly re-painted the house yellow (she called it 'buttercup'), and re-painted the door-frame green (she called it 'Irish mist' - which I think she was drinking when she did it). All the brass went away, including the mail slot, the kick-plate and the carriage lamp in the upper right.
Isn't 'irony' fun? The house burned to it's foundation a month later. This is all I have left of it.
