Very, Very Nice hotel
We could only afford to stay here because of an advertised special of half-off the regular rate. The Lodge is beautiful. The rooms are suites. The front room has a television, fireplace, sitting area, dining area, refridgerator, microwave, etc. The Bedroom has another television, vanity area, and one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in.
We did not dine in the hotel, but ordered room service for dinner and breakfast. Be sure to note that they already charge you a delivery fee and 20% gratuity when you order or you'll end up double-tipping like I did.
The food was quite good and everything arrived fresh and hot. The town of Beaver Creek, CO (which is gated) is quite a ritzy ski area. They were having their annual Octoberfest celebration while we were there. The beer was delicious, but the whole ambiance of the area didn't suit me and Chris. We're far more salt-of-the-earth and far less snooty-snoots then the majority of the people there.
I don't think we'll be back.
