Have a look at Red Rocks Ampitheatre near Morrison, West of Denver. Not far.

Colorado is the one best tourist place, i would like to suggest. Because when you're booking a vacation from thousands of miles away, you want to have someone you can trust navigating the area for you. It's better to book resort one month before. Most of them suggested us http://www.skiresorts.com as it is arapahoe luxury ski resorts where all kind of service and their hospitality is good.

Hit the Rockies! All the mountain towns are beautiful. and there is so much to do! expecially in the winter. I love going snowboarding personally, but there is so much else you can do. If you seriously want to take a colorado vacation, check out www.summitactivites.com they have soooo much stuff to do to get the full colorado experience. I'm a local and I still use it. lol

Travel Tips for Boulder

Amazing scenery and trails

by jzolson

On the highway on the way out of Boulder to Estes Park (Scenic Highway) stop along the pull-offs and check out the sights. Arrange to have enough time to stop and picnic or do some hiking. We did not realize how much we would want to explore and there were amazing sight and photo opportunities. Boulder has some amazing rock formations, beware of some traffic on the highway (can be slow moving). The enviornment is enchanting. It seemed as though the culture slowed down and it was cool to be surrounded by other people interested in the mountains, hiking, nature and adventure!!!

enjoy the local mountains and parks. Boulder is surrounded by something like 150 square miles of open space. If you like rock climbing, go south to Eldorado Springs. Some of the finest rock climbing and kayaking is there. The Flatirons (the mountains just to the west of town). They are distinctive, beautiful, and they are dramatic.

Be prepared for all types of people on the Pearl Street Mall. Beggars are a-plenty --- many many of them in their late teens! There are Buskers which make the Pearl Street scene a fun place to be - watch and listen!

Mountain Majesty

There is a hike that starts at Bear Lake and you have several choices from there. All are good. Lake Heyaha (sp?) is nice goal for the person in moderately good physical condition. The Loch and beyond are awesome. You have to scramble to get up to Cloud Lake. I couldn't do it because it looked scarier than it really was. Great views all around! Hiking boots, water, layers, rain gear. All the usual things for rugged terrain and changing weather conditions.

Boulder Falls

by sswagner

On the road to Nederland in Boulder Canyon is a pulloff area with a trail. This short trail leads to Boulder falls. The water literally comes rushing from nowhere and plummets into the creek below. Some care must be taken when near the water and the rocks. The canyon walls tend to be very steep here. This is a great setting in the foothills of the Rockies.
