Beautiful Location
I recently stayed at the Quality Inn and Suites in Boulder for some business related travel. While the location was outstanding, only a 15 minute walk to Pearl Street's restaurants and shopping, the customer service and ammenities left a bit to be desired.
The small room had great difficulty cooling down after a hot summer Colorado day. Although I had the air conditioner set at the lowest (65 degrees) the room wouldn't reach this temp. until about midnight. Now this could have been due to the external doorway to the room. Shutting the bathroom and closet doors seemed to help cool the place down.
I was very impressed with the soap and shampoo dispensers in the shower and near the sink. This ensures that there is no waste of cardboard and paper wrapers from toiletries.
Internet connection was very difficult from this hotel. As for the customer service, it seemed that the day staff didn't speak with the night staff, so there were some communication problems.
Unique Quality: The hotel has a wonderful pool, spa, and sauna along with a beautiful location surrounded by lush trees and a great view of the mountains.

Christi is Awesome
My in-laws stayed at this Quality Inn and Suites and I was pleasantly surprised. From the street it looks like an old motel but in reality it is a wonderful place to stay.
The service was very friendly. Even though I wasn't a guest the staff learned my name and was very friendly. The amenities were clean and well cared for. There is internet service, free breakfast and a nice pool, hottub and sauna. Also, the location is hard to beat. You can walk to the Pearl St Ped Mall or to parks or other shopping and restaurants.
Unique Quality: The customer service is impeccable.
