Travel Tips for Breckenridge
A hike at the top of Boreas Pass Road

You can take this road to the top (a five minute drive from downtown) and there is a parking lot and trailhead to Bakers Tank. If you take the road you will have great views of the ten mile range, town of Breckenridge and Goose Pasture Tarn. This is an easy walk and great for picture taking and meeting lots of locals and their dogs. There is also a wooded trail to bakers tank which is a historic water storage tank that was here for the railroad in the 1800's. It is best to take a light jacket in the summer because it is windy at times.
