This place is quite old. They pride themselves on the fact that known actors stayed here during its day. It needs a few upgrades. The carpets are old in the rooms. The slider doors do not lock. The locks were broken and a bar in the track is all that locks the slider. We checked several rooms and found this. We were missing an item that we know was left in the room. It was never found and we had to purchase this item for our use for the rest of our trip. Although everyone was friendly and nice they offered no replacement for our missing item. Bar was ok.The restaurant food is not very good. As a matter of fact the bartender recommended other places for us to dine. The pool is nice for kids. Nice area outside to sit around the pool. The people working were friendly, but I think overpriced for the age of the hotel. Check the Barrymore it’s new and priced accordingly with doors that lock for your safety.
A large modern facility where you can meet interesting individuals awaiting transfer to the local pennitentary system or trial for shanking their mass murdering cell mate!
$49 to $189 American dollars depending on the season- cheaper in winter.
