This bronze statue dedicated on July 23, 1988, is a gift from the Pikes Peak Range Riders. Sculptor Rusty Phelps. I like the sculpture for its location - on the corner of Pikes Peak looking toward west. Green trees around it create a little of reality of mountain plants and undiscovered places of the West.
