Full-time resident. Friendly staff. Older facility, but maintained with TLC. No dump facilities on site (there is a business near by offering dumping), but there are laundry and shower facilities available. Absolutely love the peace and quite for our young family. Pets are also permitted, which is nice.
Unique Quality: Close to town, on the edge of eastern Colorado Springs. Closest RV campground to airport and Air Force bases. Very convenient.
Directions: Southeast of Powers and Platte
Poor service and facilities. Run down in appearance.
No amenities. Contact number on door returns an invalid number message.
I would not recommend this motel or campground to anyone. Should not be a Good Sam partner. There are plenty campgrounds of better caliber nearby.
I had just returned from a long trip from out of state and needed to dump before returning the trailer to storage.
I asked if they had a dump site I could pay to use. Angela said they did not have a dump site. I asked if I could pull into an empty camp site and dump. Angela said they did not allow that. I would have to pay the full $27.50 per night camping fee just to dump.
I was ready to pay a standard $5 or $10 dollar fee, like I had at many other places.
Not very hospitable or camper friendly Camp Host.
Unique Quality: facilities, pool, great views : None
