Craig is a small town in northwestern Colorado. The sagebrush desert area north of Craig is a good place to see the Greater Sage Grouse in the spring when the male birds are performing their breeding dance ("strutting") on grounds known as "leks." Craig is also a good place for whitewater rafting on the Yampa River.
