RTD SkyRide Buses by rexvaughan
Denver has a much better bus system than I would ever have imagined. We have only used the SkyRide bus but it is well worth the money and is just about as fast as a car. The buses run on a frequent schedule from about 4:00 a.m. to midnight. There are about 30 stops all over the metro area including Boulder and the Univeristy of Colorado. Fares are based on distance and range from $6 to $10, half price for seniors. They also have one of the friendliest and most comprehensive web sites I have seen and gives you exact instructions for purchasing tickets, routes, stops and timetables. There is a sales and information booth in the center of level 5 (look for 'RTD') and the buses depart from Island 5 outside both the East and West Terminals.
