Mile High Denver

Denver is my home town. The altitude is one mile high....so don't expect to feel as energetic as usual for a couple of days. We don't sit in the mountains...but rather at the foot of the mountains. The climate is dry (you'll want chapstick and skin lotion). Our winters can be cold and snowy ( highs between 20-45 degrees). Summers are not humid and temps range from 70-90 normally. Most days (summer and winter) have blue skies and sunshine. As touristy things go, Denver is on the expensive side. If you plan to go skiing in the mountains of Colorado, bring lots of $$$.
