We would definately stay at this hotel again. It was very affordable so I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and well kept it was. The staff was very helpful with directions and any questions we had about the area. The location was near the downtown area so it took only a few minutes to drive to restaurants and shopping. A really great deal if you're not looking to spend a fortune on lodging.
The rooms are large and comfortable; they are clean and quiet. the beds ar wonderful. The convenience of early breakfast is a great arrtaction. The workers are very helpful and accomodating. We could not have asked for a more convenient and pleasant place to stay. We'll be back!
Of our 8 day recent vacation, Quality Inn & Suites in Durango, CO was by far our best stay. The room was very clean, the hotel staff friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet was outstanding. I would highly recommend this location as a great value for your money.
The place was clean but a bit noisy. The walls were pretty thin, and you could hear your neighbors during the night. The breakfast had a good selection, but the potatoes were burnt and the eggs were overdone. They do take dogs which is a plus.
Our room was very clean with nice towels and bedding. We knew very little about Durango and the staff was very helpful in giving us information about things to do and places to eat. The breakfast the next morning was one of the best we have had at a hotel
Our stay in Durango was that much better because of the fabulous service and accommodations at the Quality Inn & Suites. The room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. Our children loved the on site swimming pool and the breakfasts were absolutely delicious! There was a marvelous selection of hot and cold items that each of us enjoyed. We are definitely going to stay at this chain in the future. It was a great price for fantastic accommodations!
From check-in to check-out all the personnel were very pleasant and helpful, especially the weekend day manager: my husband and I had to switch rooms after the first night's allergic reaction to the "pets allowed" policy--the manager coordinated the switch in less than half an hour and later personally tracked clothing I had left behind (a couple of the housekeeping staff pitched in, too), all amidst checking in lots of young people in a sports team--the breakfast was a buffet and quite good, gals taking care of it friendly and capable during very busy times--I think the hotel was completely full due to the sports events, etc . This hotel allows smoking in some rooms and pets in some rooms, the latter especially convenient and a good thing. I recommend you mention your preference when booking--obviously I didn't notice the pet policy until we arrived, saw dogs, and began to really wheeze by morning. We also liked the location of this hotel--easy to get to downtown and the college.
My wife and I spent several days at the Quality Inn & Suites Durango in early October. The rooms were well appointed and very clean. The pool area was also clean and inviting. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise. We could have found very little more offered if we had gone to a restaurant to eat. The hotel is located in a very safe area just off of the main thoroughfare and is almost directly across from the towns mall. The front desk personnel were courteous and friendly. We will definately stay at this property again.
Arrived at this motel, very tired and hungry. Young man on reception was pleasant enough. Found our rooms,whch were clean, but the decor was tired and faded, and room had a stale odour. It was very busy.the two nights we stayed. Breakfast was quite good, I even made myself a waffle(with a ready prepared batter). A different story the second morning,very very busy, there was not a seat to be had.We ate breakfast seated in the reception area, along with several other folks.
I wold not return to this particular motel, not my favorite place.
Nice clean room, nice breakfast, after this we went to Mesa Verda national park, worth doing once. We then headed towards Green River, Utah.
