Great Little Motel

The room was small, after all it is a motel, but it was filled with accomodating items. We had a queen size bed with a microwave, tv, and refrigerator. The room was the cleanest we have ever had and it didn't have that motel/hotel smell some places do. It had an air conditioner in case the weather turned warmer. The staff was friendly and the owners the nicest people we have ever meet. They were always willing to offer advice and help. The motel was very inexpensive, close to town and closer to the southern entrance to the Rocky Mountain National Park. They also had free wireless internet. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to someone who needs a place to rest your head.

Unique Quality: At night you could open the little window above the air conditioner and hear the elk bugling in the park or the coyotes on the hunt. The elk also ventured out of the park onto the lot across the street from the motel. You could walk across the highway and have you own private viewing of them grazing. The view of the mountains from the parking was fantastic. They also allow pets.
