Simple Hotel Accomodations!
We came in on a Thursday evening and had pre booked our hotel room. The place was dead! I think there were only a few other rooms besides ours. Anyways, this is one of those "trying to save a few dollars" hotel. Most of the hotels like the Holiday Inn are OUTRAGEOUS in Estes Park this time of the year because it is right next to Rocky Mountain National Park and we just refused to pay $199 a night so we could have the PRIVELAGE of staying in a Holiday Inn.
Peak to Peak lodge has simple accomodations and extremely clean rooms. Bed was uncomfortable and old. Loved the pillows though! The staff were friendly.
Unique Quality: There is an outdoor pool which tends to be rendered useless when it is sleeting rain outside and is only 40 degrees in June! I did not see a hot tub on site.
To my knowledge there was no continental breakfast served and I did not see any vending machines. Close to a few different restaurants and about 1 mile from downtown Estes Park.
