It's All In the Name... Romantic!

My husband and I were married at Romantic Riversong in February, 2003. We chose this marvelous bed & breakfast because of its location, with a stunning view of the peaks in Rocky Mountain National Park. We return every year for our anniversary because of the wonderful rooms, each with a different decor, attentive service and relaxing atmosphere.

The friendly staff really caters to couples looking to get away or to get married on site. They offer a delicious hot breakfast each morning and fresh-baked treats by the fireplace each afternoon. You can even arrange in advance for dinner in the dining room on weekends.

The rooms are marvelous, definitely planned for couples. Each room has amenities like a jetted tub, wood burning fireplace and a large, comfortable bed. Our last room, Meadow Bright, had skylights over the tub and a cozy bay window reading nook. I love reading the journals in each room in which couples have recorded their thoughts about their time spent at Riversong.

If you do actually want to leave your room, Rocky Mountain National Park is a short distance away. My husband and I have snowshoed in the park, which is beautiful in the winter. Near the Inn, they have a trail along the Big Thompson River. Many elk come to visit the Inn, even a bear or two have shown up!

I love Riversong and plan to return each year until we've stayed in each one of the ten rooms!
