Great Views - Right on the River!
While in Glenwood Springs, Colorado we camped at the Rock Gardens Campground. We loved our camp spot. We were literally right on the river! Our tent was like 10 feet from the edge. It was beautiful at night sitting out by our campfire and overlooking the river. We had the campsite on the end, so were really secluded as well. It was nice sleeping next to the sound of running water.
The only negative was the train tracks across the river. Trains went by a couple times during the night and woke me up. It's quite a distance away, but you can still hear them.
Unique Quality: The Rock Gardens Rafting company was here as well, it was nice having everything in one spot.
