The name says it all
This was a much better choice than the hotel we stayed in on the 2004 trip. I picked it from online reviews and proximity to the airport: only .2 miles and close enough to walk if you didn't have a bunch of luggage. From the outside, it looks like a basic budget motel but it has nice extras that place it a good notch above. The reception desk was welcoming and efficient: always a good start! Our reasonably spacious room was clean and well soundproofed - we really didn't hear much exterior noise at all - and came equipped with flat-screen TV, microwave, coffeemaker and small refrigerator plus a table and 2 chairs. The bed was comfy and had lots of pillows, too.
Breakfast is included in the rate: yogurt, cold cereals, pre-wrapped pastries, fruit, OJ, toast, coffee, tea, milk and, best of all, a Belgium waffle maker that turns them out perfectly every time. Space in the breakfast area (mostly in the lobby) is limited so you may end up taking a tray back to your room if it's busy.
A heated outdoor pool (seasonal), playground, guest laundry, free wifi and parking space for big rigs round out the reasons to hang a hat here. It's also walking distance from restaurants and convenience stores. What more do you need? The only minus is lack of an elevator so ask for a ground floor room if you have a lot of bags or are physically challenged. Nice place and all-around nice folks - will book it again on our next trip. Price I'm noting is for the room and not per person.
