Great Memories
I loved everything about Manitou Springs, so that may have colored my opinion about this lodge. It was perfect for relaxing after a hard day's run on the trails--I loved the peaceful, cozy feeling of being by the fireplace on chilly evenings, and the kitchen was great for when I wanted to eat in on a rainy night.
Unique Quality: El Colorado Lodge is probably a bit on the rustic side, but it suited me perfectly. There's a heated pool, open seasonally, and the location is convenient to Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs.
