St Elmo Hotel
I didn't stay here, but ate at the restaurant, which was excellent (see restaurant tips for more details). The St. Elmo is newly remodeled but still maintains the Victorian style of all downtown buildings. The rooms are quaint, charming and also Victorian. The hotel itself is listed in the National Registry of Historic Places.
Unique Quality: Turn of the century furnishings and architecture. The hotel was a former boardinghouse for miners.
