Nice condo
We reserved a 1 Bedroom condo on-line through Vail central reservations. When we arrived the hotel upgraded us to one that has extra bunk beds since we have kids. It worked out great. Nicely done condo. Great views from the balcony. Housekeepers were great. The pool area was nice too, but quite a cold run from the room to the pool area. There was decent access (walk) to the ski school and the gondola. It would be nice if the mountain had affordable ski storage at the lifts. Sort of a pain lugging the skis back and forth. Blue Moose pizza great place to take the kids for dinner.
Unique Quality: Wonderful hot-tubs and pool down by the river, but sort of cold running down the open hallways to get there.

Best value in Vail
With the rising cost of fuel and everything else these days, we are so grateful that we can stay at the Antlers when we are in Vail. Check their rates -- they really offer a good value for the money. The rooms are spacious and they have full kitchens so we can save money by preparing some of our meals in the room. (There is a large supermarket less than a mile away.) The location for skiing is great - easy walking distance to the gondola.
