The NBA (National Bison Association) holds our yearly convention each year at this fine hotel. The service is outstanding.
That pretty Concierge is a keeper. She checks us in for our flights and she just makes our stay perfect. But, we can't smoke there anymore, so we might not see her again.
My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel for a week. We got the workout room and it was fabulous. The rooms are located on the second floor near the fitness center. They are a little larger than the regular and they all have two-story ceilings. I was really impressed with the equipment. The hotel was great and the staff was great. Any time we had a problem, management resolved it quickly. The breakfast buffet is wonderful and guess what - Starbucks in served onsite all day and night at the bar. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. It was central to everything in the area.
We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the hotel and saw how beautiful it was and that we had a lovely room. I wished there had been another restaurant choice, maybe a casual coffee shop. Our trip turned out to be fabulous because of Janet Brackeen, the evening concierge. She was not only extremely friendly, pleasant and helpful, but amazingly informative. We have traveled fairly extensively, here and abroad, but this is the first time we have encountered an interested and helpful concierge. She helped to make our first trip to Colorado truly a wonderful experience.
Am a Starwood Platinum member. Checked in, was neither acknowledged as a Platinum member nor given any type of upgrade. Disappointed that there was no conceirge lounge either.
The Good:
Room was pretty clean.
Toiletries were nice.
The Bad:
Bar closed at 11 pm every night even when we brought in a large wedding party. Supposed to be open until 1.
Forgot requested condiments with the room service and took 20 minutes to get them delivered. By then food was cold.
Came back on day 2 from skiing and hopped in the shower, only to realize there were no towels! Called to request towels and had to wait in the shower over 20 minutes until towels were delivered.
Maid accidentally took my pajamas with the bed linens for the laundry. Reported it and said I would receive a follow up call but never did.
No one seemed apologetic about any of these mishaps. Never received the typical Starwood courtesy call to make sure my stay was going well.
For $150 a night, you should get more!
This is a wondersul hotel in a great setting. Good restaraunts close by, movie theater, walking trail. Hotel is very nice. Staff very attentive.
