European Style Inn
I spent two nights at Gasthaus Eichler over a weekend. It's a delightful place, located on the main street in the town of Winter Park. The owners/hosts Joan & Rene are very attuned to guests comfort. Rene runs a morning and afternoon shuttle to the Winter Park base, or you can take the town bus which runs every 30 minutes or so. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with down comforters. The inn has a very good Swiss/German restaurant if you don't feel like wandering outside. An adjacent ski shop will watch over your boots and skis in the evening. Highly recommended.
