Fries and hot dogs
The CUF building on the Fairfield University campus. This building has a great history, and is fun for all ages. See if you can get Ray, a Fairfield U custodian, to give you a tour - he might even give you a ride in his new truck!
Fairfield is a nice community in Fairfield Country Connecticut. It boast some nice shops, restaurants, homes, historical houses and sites. Our main purpose when visiting Fairfiled is for hot dogs or some ribs. We are normaly passing through the area on our way north and like to stop in Fairfield for a bite to eat.
The Food Network's show: Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives covered Fairfield's own "Super Duper Weenie". Super Duper Weenie is a nice local joint that serves outrageously good hotdogs, sandwiches and fries. The food is excellent, the service is friendly and you feel at home in the cozy place. It is our choice for awesome hot dog and I haven't had a dog that was better.
I was born in Fairfield 40 years ago. Although I have traveled extensively in the US and Canada as well as Europe and the Pacific Rim I have never felt the need to leave my home town. The town has gone through some changes but for the most part it has not changed in size or character. It is still a small coastal New England town.
