Hartford Sucks

Bad (2.0 of 5.0 stars)

Hartford is no big deal but it is apparent that the crime is real. Sure, majority of people are stuck-up in Connecticut and that's the problem when suburbans clash with city-folk. The silly white girls who walk down the side-streets with their arms folded are hilarious. They don't understand that their insecure body-language is making them look like sore thumbs. That's why if possible, they always walk huddled together next to a white guy or some other white chick. See what racism and snobbery can cause? Fear when outside the element of the 'comfort-zone'. That part, in a sense, is actually hilarious. To finally see the roles reversed were a certain group of people don't have "dominion" to be racist unless they risk into getting into fights or verbal bash-outs. Suburban people obliviously, are not use to and cannot handle, city people. That's why their scared. They think in their minds the "black boogey man" is out to get them because they see some trash on the street. The criminals are out to get anyone, not just blacks in general but as whites are, having been taught racist b.s. from their families, friends and society, their easily tripped up. Their too stupid, scared and racially-minded to discern a criminal from a city-people. That's CT's problem.

The city is dirty. The roads are broken, there ARE thugs and mini-criminals running around on the streets, this part is true. In the suburbs you don't have a security officer standing around outside of a business unless there's something of value inside the building. You don't have thick-heavy doors that open SLOWLY in order to prevent people from running out or running in. People drive like their stupid in CT and Hartford is no different. Big mouth, loud mouth jealous girls and ebt-city dwellers who don't know their left foot from their right yet wearing all the cheap clothing and attitudes only EBT cards can buy. The only whites that come here are the ones who work at the businesses down-town, the ones who live here, the businesses, and the ones who attend the college. Other than that hartford, in a sense is a ghetto-bum town. Why is it so hard for black communities to actually take CARE of their properties instead of trashing them and invest in growth. All I see is ebters feeding off their own filth. Anyone down in Hartford have a sense of dignity and community or are they all wild EBT trash-cans? The only place that is "nice" is down-town hartford. And that's on a 3-star rating.

I attend one of the colleges down there. Had the unfortunate experience of a crack-head asking passerby's for "money" thanks to a drug-recovery center nearby during the summer. At MCC we had none of this garbage and the mentally ill were kept under check, controlled, and reported IF needed be. It's not tolerated. I am a black female and I don't really care for the backwardness in Hartford nor for the phony snobbery in the suburbs. One thing I do care for however, is quality. Hartford, really, has none of it. People are shot or killed in hartford everyday and some places are so dangerous that it would be a fool's game for a female to go into those areas by herself or even with others. I've been to other cities. Hartford is trying too much to be a mixture of a mini chicago/new york. This place is a joke, and the people that live in CT too. It's dirty, it's poor, it's just gross. I would never live in Hartford if you paid me $100,000 a year to do so.

The city girls obliviously have a different attitude compared to suburban girls. Now after Hartford, I had the experience of meeting both. In a sense, both have their phoniness. The city girls try to hard to stand out, and the suburban girls are nothing more than gossiping sneaky sneaks. It's the thugs and the wild EBTER's that bring hartford down to criminal-scum levels.

Who the hell walks around with a shower-cap, a BIG bag of clothes in one hand, and or a Hair-wrap or comb in their head? Nothing but EBTERS. Lazy ghetto slobs who will never rise out of poverty. These are not the type of people I like being around and unfortunately, their in the colleges. The same ones who I had the unfortunate experience of being in a class with. Flunk outs, lazy, self-excusing rift-rats.

The city is especially dangerous at night. Even in the mornings, be aware of your surroundings. Not out of fear, but out of street-smarts.
