Clean and affordable accomodation
We decided to stay at Milford because we needed to get the Bridgeport Ferry to Long Island in the morning, and Milford was quite close. We booked in online and arrived within a few hours - it was quite easy to find the hotel from the interstate. The hallway smelt a bit musty but the room itself was quite nice and well maintained. A free self-serve breakfast was included, consisting of cereal, juice, muffins, yogurt...all the usual fare.
Unique Quality: There's supposed to be a shopping mall near this hotel, but I kept getting lost on the back roads and ending up in suburbia. There is a restaurant right next to the hotel, though: a Bennigan's. Takes about 40 seconds to get there from your room, depending on elevator wait time.
