Courtyard by Marriott Stamford Downtown

Have only been there for events, I live here in town so what's the point!!!!But Stamford Downtown has great nightlife, restaurant alley, The Majestic, Stamford Center for the Arts, the Harbor, nearby Maritime Aquarium and nearby NY state with museums and historical homes.

This hotel has a prime location for a downtown visit. You can park your car here ($8.00 a day) and not need it until you check out. Everything is in walking distance from the front door. There are literally dozens of restaurants within a 2 block radius of the front door. Rooms were large and clean and contained a small refrigerator. Beds were very comfortable.

Unique Quality: Front desk was very pleasant and helpful. There is a pool but we did not see it. We were not bothered by any street noise.

I stayed in this Hotel for one month before I moved to Stamford. I loved the rooms. They were roomy and quiet. The location of the hotel is great as it's in Stamford downtown. You're where it's happening in terms of bars, restaurants, and night life.

The staff is very friendly. Also I like the fact that the wireless internet in the rooms is included in your room rate.

Unique Quality: wireless internet, gym, external gym available on request, best location.
