The Marina Suites Hotel

On 10 July 2004, six of us made the quick drive from Dover to Dewey, hoping to find a hotel room for the night. Upon arriving, several hotels had the "no vacancy" sign lit. The Comfort Inn had only one room available for $270 + $20 for each adult after the first two. Since there were 6 of us looking for a place, the room would have been $350 for one night!!!

Luckily, the desk staff at one hotel pointed us to the Marina Suites. They had just received a cancellation and had one room free for $240. It was a large room overlooking the bay on the west side of town. There was a large hot tub, a nice balcony, a king sized bed, and a queen sized fold-out couch. The hotel is also within easy walking distance of the beach and all of the Dewey nightlife. You can even see the Rusty Rudder from the balcony. Plus, no extra fees for additional adults! Parking was easy in their big lot or in the covered garage under the hotel.

This is a nice, clean hotel in a great location.
