The lobby, like the rooms, was bigger than most other motels in the area. The staff was helpful in getting us booked in (AAA rates) without any hassles and they nicely answered questions about what to see in the area (without acting like we were bothering them).
The room was large, two doubles, non-smoking and no smoke smell. The bathroom was tub/shower unit with clean tiles and no mold in the corners. The furniture was not my style (mostly blond 70's style) but it was relatively new looking and serviceable. They had an extra desk and chair in addition to the TV unit and bureau and two nightstands. There was an entrance light and two room lights, all on separate switches so you could adjust the lighting level to suit. Internet hook-up, coffee-maker, hair-dryer, iron and ironing-board and you could purchase a key to the safe (we were traveling light so did not need it).
We had a nice continental breakfast in the morning (at no additional cost, which saves you fif teen dollars).
There was a mall just down the street and restaurants a jog away.
We would stay here again if we were in the area.
Newer, clean, convenient to the highway
