You'll see a big sign for the Convention Center as you drive or walk down Rehoboth Avenue. This is the place to stop if you want a walking map or a parking permit. There are also occasional concerts and other social events held here. Inquire within for information about current local events, including festivals, concerts and exhibitions in town.

Take the kiddies on some rides!

Is there anything better than board walk rides when you are a kid? If there is, I sure don't know...Christmas, or your birthday are in this catagory. Oh the smiles, and F.Y.I. , makes a wonderful bribe all day.
Example:
"If you won't stop throwing sand at your sister, we will NOT go to the rides tonight!"

21st Birthday at the Beach

My fiance and I travelled to Rehoboth for my 21st birthday this past summer. Of all the places to celebrate your 21st birthday, why Rehoboth? Well, I wanted to take a trip, but I didn't want to go too far. Rehoboth is a close, clean beach if you live anywhere from Pittsburgh to Scranton or DC. Ocean City and Atlantic City are both close, but Jersey is dirty and I wasn't in the mood to deal with all the trashy hype of Ocean City. If I want to deal with a bunch of drunk college kids acting up cause their parents are hours away, I'll make the trip to Ocean City. I prefer a beach that's small, but still has everything you'd look for in a vacation.
