The Homestead at Rehoboth Bed & Breakfast

Hit the boards...

We call the endless walking around the town "hitting the boards". You HAVE to walk the boardwalk, it is NOT that long! Shop, eat, enjoy the ocean, (so close!), people watch. The must-do general custom of our family...HIT THE BEACH!!! That's all day, of course. Get hungry, go up to the boardwalk and grab some yummy junk food, (a chili dog, a piece of pizza, or...our favorite, a sausage and pepper sandwich). Follow with ice cream. Shop your way back to blanket. Take a nap. Take a swim. Pack it up, and head for the hotel. Shower, dress for dinner. Go to dinner, (this will require that you hurry up and wait...) shop till you drop. Have another icecream, or perhaps a nice funnel cake. Hit the sack, get up and start over...

Rehoboth Beach

I have come here a couple of times on vacation with a group of good friends. Both times I had a blast. I pretty much spent all my time laying on the beach, eating out, partying until sunrise and sleeping until noon.

I enjoyed watching the dolphins. Every so often they would come swimming along the coast and leaping out of the water.
