Take a trip to Misner Park. You can shop, eat, catch a movie, sip coffee and people watch. It is a popular spot, especially for getting social in the evening. The dress code for observing and shopping is 'anything goes'. Dress for clubbing and dining is finer, but can have a casual flare and revealing is always OK.
Excellent neightborhood Italian eatery
by nicolaitan about Vito"s
Sometimes it seems that every strip mall in southern Palm Beach County has an Italian restaurant with variable delusions of upscale aspiration. Vito's succeeds better than most. With a broad menu of appetizers, pizza, pasta, and entrees similar to every other Italian eatery, the food here is clearly above the average. All the usual suspects are on the menu, but prepared with more care and sophistication than many competitors. This may reflect the clientele, somewhat younger than in most Boca restaurants. A full bar offers complete service with surprisingly good martinis. Salads and soups range from $5-9 with appetizers slightly higher. Pastas are largely below $15 and entrees range into the low 20s. Service is quite adequate, ambience unexceptional, and many evenings live music plays quietly in the background. Except in peak season, reservations are a good idea but hardly required. Vito's is not a destination restaurant but an excellent choice for neighborhood dining. If visiting in the area, such as at Morikami, it offers a good meal at reasonable prices. We have had very good meals here on multiple occasions.
On Business

"Paid Training..."
My coworker and I were sent to our company HQ to learn the ropes. The weather was wonderful (if you like it hot and a tad humid that is) with the exception of the fringe of a tropical storm that passed us on the first day of our visit!
I enjoyed viewing the tropical plants and trees, and chasing the lizards in an attempt to get a pic of them! We also were able to visit the beach, which was about 5 miles away, thanks to a kind coworker. It had been about 23 years since I've seen a REAL beach (I was on the gulf side last time). Collected up a bunch of seashells too!
We were within walking distance of quite a few eateries, and the Town Center Mall as well. We always found something to do after work! It was a very pleasant trip considering it was "business"!

In fact I spent less than 10 minutes on it, so what do you expect? Check out my Hawaii and California pages instead. They're a zillion times better.
