Gourmet French in a Strip Mall
by TRimer about Paris Bread
As of January 2006, I am sad to say that this place has lost some of its luster. It has new management and the food has been suffering.

I am a little bit afraid to tell people about this place as it is already crowded most nights.
This quaint place is quite the find. Serving exquisite french bistro cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere. The owner, Bertrand (Burt), welcomes every guest. He even gave me restaurant suggestions for my upcoming trip to Paris. Paris Bread has had glowing reviews in The Palm Beach Post, The Sun Sentinal and The Boca Raton News.
I highly recommend the French Onion Soup and the Steak au Poivre.

Boca Raton

I have lived and worked in beautiful Boca Raton for 18 years.
Although it has a reputation for being very "high end", there are
plenty of parts of Boca that are middle-class too, so people like
me can call it "home" too :)
There are lots of great restaurants, nice parks, and plenty of
shopping. And we also have the beach. There is not as much
public beach access as in other areas of south florida (ft lauderdale),
but it is nice at the South Beach Pavillion, or one of the several
parks located along the beaches. Park entrance fees are kinda
high, I think.
Lunch in Boca?

Boca Raton seems to be an expensive enclave for the "right" sort of people. I am not one of those people. I don't feel comfortable there but my mom lives close by and she and my aunt love to do lunch there when I visit. Boca appears to be upscale shopping malls, upscale restaurants and bad drivers but maybe there's a side I haven't seen.
