Sovereign of the Seas: A Suite Stay with a View
We booked a junior suite on Sovereign of the Seas. It was a very large suite; biger than we expected with a nice size balcony. The room has the usual bed, couch, coffee table, bathroom, vanity, closets and a safe. I liked that the bathroom had a full tub instead of just a shower stall. We didn't feel cramped in the room at all.
The balcony was a nice feature. We enjoyed watching the sun rise in the morning and watching the scenery change from port to port.
Unique Quality: We loved the towel animals that the cabin steward would leave on the bed. They were very cute and Liz loved them;especially the puppy dog.

Conviniently located next to Port Canaveral and the cruises. Excellent award winning seafood buffet friday evening and brunch on sunday. Have view of rocket/Shuttle launches

An Inn: Cocoa Beach. Where else?
There are many places to stay and a wide range of prices. We stayed at an inn in Cocoa Beach. Can't remember the name but no matter. We were only there for 2 nights. Out sight seeing during the day. Went to the beach after dusk. Wind was too cool to stay on the beach for long. It is really easy to travel between Cocoa Beach and the Cape.
Unique Quality: ATTENTION! On room rates. Beware trying to find a cheap room anywhere in central Florida around the time of the Daytona 500 race. Prices REALLY go up at that time. We were a long way from Daytona and they still raised the rate for the last night. Fair is fair though. We were warned ahead of time that the rate would change.
