I'm not going to build much of a Cape Coral page. Not sure what there is to see for the visitor. It appears to be a very nice residential area near the Gulf with numerous waterways, canals and a lot of land still available for sale. There are no beaches as the land closest to the Gulf is protected wetlands. Ok, there is one sand beach per tropicdiver which is on the river.
My reason for visiting - land.
My mother and father purchased swampland here 40 something years ago. It was a scam at the time but is finally, yes finally developing & appreciating in value. They are just beginning to build in the farthest reaches of northwest Cape Coral where my mother's lot is. In-laws that reside in Florida have recently purchased a waterfront lot for investment purposes. From what I hear it's already doing well.
