Excellent hotel, very good service, extremely friendly. Cannot fault.
I did not eat here, not through choice.

Unique Quality: Beautiful, spacious rooms, friendly staff, reasonable views.

Perfect Getaway for Couples!

If you are looking for something very different in the Disney area then this may be the place for you. My husband and I just returned from spending 5 nights at Celebration Hotel for our 20th Wedding Anniversary. We found a great price on mousesavers but the hotel actually beat that price when we called for reservations. They even upgraded our room to a lake view at no extra charge when they found out about our special occassion.

Even though the rooms are small, we loved all the special attention. We also loved the fact that often times we were the only ones at the pool. What a treat. It felt like we were in our own personal villa at times because of the level of privacy at this hotel. We also loved the Starbucks in the lobby and the 50's style diner outside the hotel was wonderful and very affordable. The whole experience was just what we needed for a personal quiet retreat.

A haven of calm amidst the hustle and bustle

Celebration is a picturesque American town with a real 1950’s feel, despite only being built in the late 1990’s. The town does have an air of the Stepford Wives about it, but for a tourist it is a welcome escape from busy theme parks and tourist attractions.

The Celebration hotel has a plantation/colonial feel about it. The rooms are decorated in a colonial style too, and whilst not huge are certainly ample in size (we’ve stayed in other boutique hotels with tiny rooms.) We stayed in a Superior Town View room, which had a lovely four poster bed and a small seating area. The bathroom was great with pristine white towels, which were replaced on a daily basis, and Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries. There was even fresh coffee/tea making facilities (which I think is quite unusual in US hotels? It’s the norm in the UK and Europe.)

Room service was great. For breakfast, we tended to order one Sunrise continental breakfast and one fruit platter, which was more than enough for two people. We also ate in the hotel’s restaurant – The Plantation – which provided fantastic service and marvellous food (I thorough recommend the sweet potato soup!) If the hotel restaurant isn’t your style, there are plenty of other restaurants in Celebration to choose from. We ate at the Town Tavern and sampled great lobster at a fantastic price (it’s very expensive in the UK.)

The valet parking service is good, but you don’t really need it as you can park around the corner from the hotel for free.

All in all, if we go back to Orlando, we’ll certainly re-book the Celebration.

A true delight

I don't know who wouldn't like this location - it is small but not in a bad way. Its a very short drive from Disney but very quiet and a nice way to end a hectic day at the parks.

The staff were very helpful and treated us with a great deal of care - especially considering we were invading the quiet of the hotel with our small children! We were at Disney for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (which we attend every year with our children) and Celebration was a great town to stay in - there was faux snow on one of the streets (hey, its the closest thing to real snow my kids have yet to see), carriage rides and various other festivities - we'll definitely go back next year. Plus, there was a very nice breakfast with Santa at the hotel that the concierge was kind enough to suggest.

I have no complaints, everything went smoothly and delightfully. Sure Celebration is a little "Stepfordish" but sometimes its nice to escape the grunge and grime of a real city and escape to the ideal - somewhere where you feel safe walking around with your small children and where people greet you in a friendly manner.

The bottom line is that when you arrive at the hotel there is someone to open the door and welcome you into the clean and stylish lobby and when you leave someone is sure to invite you back. I'm picky at times a little cynical and I felt like I had stepped into a magical town! Remember - it was Christmas time!

What a great getaway in the Orlando area!

This was an above average hotel but excellent for Orlando! Everything about it was very relaxing. The town itself is adorable! The setting on the lake was beautiful! The service was very good (except in the plantation room for brunch--very Slooow!!! but friendly!) The rooms were well appointed and clean! Overall we had a very good time. It is not the extravagance of the Ritz Carlton but very quaint and not overdone! We are looking forward to going back soon!

A first class Hotel (in Orlando!)

Celebration is a bit weird (think Stepford Wives) but is charming and has some very good places to eat. It's quiet and is a great antidote to queuing for Thunder Mountain etc.

The Hotel is small but equally charming. Rooms are of a high standard (although little hanging space) - for example, you get a BOSE stereo in the room. Spacious and well fitted bathrooms.

Staff are generally attentive if slightly "distant". There is something a litttle contrived about the Hotel but it is relaxing and peaceful. Rooms overlooking the lake are worth the extra money.

The Pool is pleasant, but is very small (and was very cold) , as is the sun deck surrounding it.

Nevertheless, the Hotel is recommended if you are looking for an oasis of sorts in busy Orlando

A wonderful experience

Our experience was 5 star from start to finish. The staff was very helpful and followed through on all of our requests. The room was very nicely appointed and the beds were very comfortable. The Bose stereo was a nice touch.

There are a number of dining opportunities in Celebration but you have to try the hotel's restaurant. The breakfast buffet is delicious and dinner was excellent. After dinner we visited the lobby bar and enjoyed the ambiance and the live piano music.

It was a wonderful getaway!

Celebration - A Must Go To Place

"Celebration"

This small town just south of Orlando is nice and quiet do not expect to do anything exciting. It is meant to look like an old American town and the cinema is built 50's/60's style.

It was built in the early 90's by Disney for it's employees.

There is no rush here, just relax in town or around the large lake.

"Celebration Hotel"

This is a great hotel in a great place.

Stay at Celebration Hotel - you should find a discount from their website - it is worth every penny (cent, etc.)

A manufactured town

"Celebration"

I have mixed emotions on Celebration. This is a town manufactured by Disney in 1994. Almost like a 'Pleasantville' where everything is a bit too clean and perfect. Still, there is a bit of charm here.

I love this pic

"Celebration Town Tavern"

This is the real deal. Owned by Bostonian's, who know how to run a pub. My search for a proper place in Orlando to watch a Patriots game has ended.
